We had a good Easter this year. The Missionaries came over for dinner. And Levi enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the back yard.
I made him a felt car mat that folds into a house (here is the tutorial I used). The cars were free hand-me-downs. And I got the candy for free through couponing!
Aww, I miss that kid! Looks like his hair is finally starting to grow in - yay! I loved watching him look for the eggs. Too funny! Too bad you guys couldn't come up here for Easter. We didn't even bother to count the eggs, there were so many of them. We completely ran out of places to hide them, and ended up just throwing a whole bunch around the lawn. It was very colorful! We intended them to mostly be for Jessie, but Wyatt got to them all first. In about 2 min his basket was completely overflowing, so we told him he had to sit out for a little while so the other kids could have a chance to find some, too:-) They all had fun, though, and ended up with way to much candy, lol.

ReplyDeleteWow, you did a good job on that car mat! I'd like to try making something like for Addison. I'm all about frugal gifting.
