mowing the lawn

Our fearless Son decided that the lawn mower Matt was pushing looked like fun.  So he helped push for a time.  He was very upset at having to stop to go inside.  Do you think he will have this same kind of attitude when he's a teenager?

4th of July

This year I had poor luck when it came to getting photos.  Either the batteries would die on me (I forgot to bring any extra), or I forgot to bring the camera all together.  Thankfully a friend took some pics for me at the parade. So while I didn't get as many as I would have liked, at least I did get some.  

This float reminded us of our nephew Cameron, he LOVES Star Wars.

 For the parade on Monday morning Matt set out at 5 in the morning to set up the canopy and save us a spot. 

 It was good to have the shade, and so nice to have a good spot for Levi to see everything. 

While Levi did seem to enjoy the parade, his real excitement was for the fireworks at night.  He loved seeing the large ones light up the sky.  He was jumping up and down, laughing and pointing.  Sadly this was on the night I forgot the camera.  but I did get some of when we did our own little fireworks with Matt's family.  

 Levi wanted to get too close to them, so he had to go to bed.
